This committee is focused on winning back the House and Senate in 2026 by protecting the electoral process and supporting pro-democracy candidates. Our work encompasses organizing and participating in voter registration as well as supporting campaigns by promoting phone and text banking drives. We also strategize for candidate support, both locally and nationally, to support swing states with significant elections.
This committee determines the most effective ways to share information about Indivisible DuPage and our values, as well as issues facing our community, individual states, and the nation. We are responsible for the technical work of posting content and monitoring posts on all of our social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and Blue Sky, We also support the Chalk the Walk and other visibility campaigns as they arise.
The Indivisible DuPage Visibility Brigade is part of a national effort to take our messages directly to the public, rather than relying on biased and unreliable mainstream media outlets. Our team continues to grow in size and impact, as we take our messages to bridge overpasses and protests.
The Writing Committee takes on writing projects of different sizes for a variety of audiences. We have written letters to the editor, revised our organization's website, and written press releases. No matter how much time you have to contribute, we can work with you.
We create signs for protests and rallies as well as support the signage needs of the Visibility Brigade.
The Postcard Committee coordinates with SwingLeft DuPage and the Democratic Party of DuPage County to organize postcard writing parties at local libraries and other venues.
This committee is charged with recruiting volunteers and educating our community about issues impacting our lives on local as well as global levels. This work includes organizing protests, meetings, and book discussions. Our community outreach commitment includes promotion of projects run by humanitarian organizations that offer supportive actions for targeted communities.
This committee is responsible for assisting all other committees with organizational needs including creating and managing documents, updating contact lists, taking minutes at committee meetings and tracking assignment progress.
We work to monitor the positions, votes, and actions of our elected officials at all levels of government. We promote responsive grass roots actions to our membership and organize constituent meetings throughout the voting cycle.
