The next Debate is Friday, February 7, 2020 Here's how it will work:
Candidates need to meet polling thresholds to be considered for the next debate. They need to receive at least 5% in four national polls, or else 7% in two of the early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, or Nevada.
Candidates also need to meet a donor threshold. They need 225,000 unique donors, with at least 800 of them in 20 different states, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territories.
Under current rules Biden, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Sanders, Steyer, and Warren will all qualify. But this isn't certain as requirements may be raised by the DNC.
The February 7th debate will be will be hosted by ABC News, WMUR, and Apple News, at Anselm College in in Manchester, New Hampshire. A February 19th debate will be hosted by NBC News, MSNBC, and the Nevada Independent, and will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The final February debate will be held on the 25th in Charleston, South Carolina, hosted by CBS News, the Congressional Black Caucus Institute, and Twitter at the Gaillard center.
